What was the most interesting thing you learned about your chosen decade? Why was that interesting to you?
The most interesting thing I learned about my chosen decade is about Malcolm X he was a brave man and has inspired me by him following his dreams and teachings. This is very interesting to me because of how Malcolm changed his last name from Little to X to represent his stolen African identity. He got assassinated because of his race and religion which also inspires me because he fought for what he believed in. He knew it could result to his death, but he still fought for it because he believed he could change it. How hasAmerica changed since your chosen decade?
America now andAmerica then are very different yet very alike. We have developed new technology and for television programs and radio. We have new styles of music, but we still have similar styles as in my chosen decade. What really has affected us since then is the new technology. The new technology since my chosen decade is overwhelming.
What hardware/software problems did you encounter in this project and how did you solve them?
During this project I ran into a few hardware/software problems. Such as my computer freezing and my compute not letting me get on the internet. To solve these problems Ms. Steele called Mr. Parsons to the computer lab to fix it. He fixed the computer by restarting it. Once he even had to restart a whole row of computers due to hardware/software problems during our project.
How is technology changing our society?
I think technology is changing society because now that’s all people rely on. We rely on our cell phones to have contact with other people now instead of like older times when you had to write letters to contact someone. What do we rely on to wake us up every morning? Technology. We rely more on technology than we do on each other. Technology has become a huge part of our society! One day that is all we will rely on is technology. There will soon be no jobs for anyone because technology will be able to do everything.
